A definition that never quite lands
I get asked what the name means more often than I expected and I usually say some version of the same thing – that things have a way of coming back round, not always to the same place exactly but changed, softened, carrying a renewed perspective. It's true, but it's also a definition and definitions are rarely how the thing actually shows up in reality.
Here's how it showed up a few weeks ago.
A patch of soil doing nothing
We share a small front garden with our neighbours downstairs, barely two metres by thirty centimetres, the kind of patch you'd walk past thinking it's a thin border. The weeds had taken it over entirely. Danny had the idea that if we planted things with enough weight and root, the weeds would struggle to come back as fast. So we got five planters, some seeds, no expectations and for a month it just looked like soil. Nothing visibly happening, every day looking exactly like the day before.
Then the seedlings came through and I remember the genuine joy of seeing those first shoots, completely out of proportion to how small they were! I'd somehow assumed growing your own flowers in London would be difficult. It isn't, it just asks for some watering and mostly patience while nothing seems to be happening.

A cutting, a card, a feeling I can't quite name
The garden is in full bloom now. Baby's breath, cornflower, candytuft and ranunculus still to come. The heatwave took a few of them but thankfully plenty remain. A few days ago I took my first cutting, just baby's breath and placed it in a small ceramic kensan on my table. It sat there next to one of our Endless Thanks cards – and something about the two together, the flower I'd grown myself and a card about gratitude moving through time, gave me a feeling I'm still not entirely able to name. Serendipity, maybe? Or just the recognition of something arriving back round to where it began, in a way I hadn't engineered or planned for.
That's what Come Full Circle means, more than any definition I could give you upfront. Not a fixed idea I designed the brand around but something I keep noticing, in a garden, in a journal, in the time it takes a flower to grow from soil that looked like nothing was happening at all.
